Is the 6.7 cp3 any differant than the cp3 on the 5.9 commonrail?

Yes they are. They are virtually identical to the LBZ/LMM Duramax pumps, with the exception of the outlet fitting to the rail being different. They will interchange with the 5.9 with some plumbing changes.
