Is there anything I need to look out for? I am thinking I might want to swap a motor, tranny, computer, and instument panel out of a crashed rig.

What are you swapping complete engine or??
Injectors are different.

I have 224,000mi. on my 06 and pulled a couple of broken teeth out of the bottom of my g56. I am also still running the factory hub assemblies, need an ac pump, and my tach doesn't work. So instead of putting the money into it I thought if I could find a low mileage pickup that was crashed for a reasonable price I would just swap all the stuff over. I just wanted to make sure the motor mounts would line up, fan would have clearance, if the drive lines would work, and see how big of a pain the wiring might be. Also anything else I should be aware of.

just curious as to how the hell you got 224K on a 2006 truck? You use it to run hotshot or something?

Yeah I hotshot. I put 130,000 on the 1st 06 I had.

to answer your question measure the motor mounts, engine then yours see if their is a diffence its going to be alot of work but it will be diffent
