How much power is inline P7100 fuel pump using during operation?
I have heard for stock P7100 using aprox 40hp in operation and high performance drag/sled pull engine P7100 using aprox 100 hp.
Is this info correkt?

Columbus diesel uses a 100HP electric motor for tuning the large pumps. Their general manager explained that the 50HP motor they had been using was ok for for most pumps except their 4000-5000HP models.

So here's an idea, run it on the dyno as is, then remove the P7100 and see how much power it makes then :)

You would have to remove the pump while the engine is running. Otherwise, it wouln't start:doh:
