Here goes.. the other day I put on new shocks at all 4 corners, changed the oil, oil filter, and fuel filter. so i get finished with everything and i have a half gallon of new Rotella left. So i dump it in the fuel tank. No big deal, right? So i go to start the truck and it took a minute(usual after changing fuel filter) and i dont pay no attention to the FP gauge. So yesterday im driving around and i glance at it and its reading 13PSI at idle, which had me concerned a bit. BEFORE i changed the filter it was at 17PSI. So now i have been paying more attention lately. If i stab the throttle and take off a little quick it pulls down to 8-9PSI. Not what i want to see. I even have the Vulcan Big Line Kit/Relocation Kit. Im thinking about just getting a HOLLEY inline pump and calling it a day. How do i run it? Do i need a return? is that 15PSI it puts out enough? Does it flow enough GPH? I kinda want to put another Fuel filter under the truck someting like the Nicktane or Glacier filter. Please dont try and sell me a freakin FASS, thats all i hear about and i could care less. I want to make my own setup. So with that said.... I need some input!

The Holley deal would be fine, I would keep an additional one as a spare though....
For the performance orientated person look into Aeromotive pumps.......

I have a Holley on my truck, had it for about 2 years, very good pump for the 400RWHP range IMHO. I'm working out the details for a system using an Aeromotive pump and bypass/return regulator similar to Smokem's brother.
If you decide to go the Holley route go to ebay, you can get 2 remaned pumps for the price of one new unit and have a spare ready to go just in case :D

I have an 01 and I'm just replacing the stock lift pump with a FASS pump.. I didn't bother to get the extra filters and air seperators. The stock filter is a cake walk on 01s to change, and I don't plan on going above 500 for clutch concerns.. (I don't want the cost of a dual disk).

I love my FASS 150/150. Truck pretty stock but it gives me room to play and not have to worry about fuel supply.
