I am about to be in the process of building a sleeper first gen. Im going to go ahead and rebuild the motor while im in the process. The plains with the truck is new pistions rods. Hasily stage 2 heads a haisly cam. Head studs and girdle kit basically everything. For fueling it will have a 13mm p pump and a PPE 160 lift pump to supply the fuel. I have already talked to HTT about turbos. The turbo combo will be a s300 on top of a s480. What eles do yall think i need to add to my list. this is a 93 first gen

Trans? Also the stock tank has a really small pickup, only like a quarter of an inch, you'll need a draw tube or a sump.

mmm - me thinks its not a "true" 1st gen sleeper if it has a p-pump on it - thats just not right lol
specially with people like Giles at Performance injection buildin wicked 14mm VE pumps

I opted for power and reliability. The reliability just wasn't there with the big VE. Stomp(Jeremy T) made almost 700hp with a VE pump 4 or 5 years ago. There were issues along the way. What good is a 500hp sleeper when the 3rd gen with a chip and a turbo kicks your backside. Or do you only plan on racing against other first gens?

How can it be a first gen when it is in a ford body?

ahh teething pains - lol - the 14mm apparrently works just fine these days

your right the p-pump is a reliable tank of a pump

me- I make no claims to bein a die hard 1st genner lol - fact is if my pump dont cut it this year I will be goin p-pump next year - but I think my current 435 cc's is lots of fuel for now

I wanted the best of both worlds- A Ford chassis and a Cummins motor - that just happened to be a 1st gen

Given the way the chipped trucks are goin - it wont be long before even a P-pump wont be able to keep up, never mind us 5-700 hp guys
