My truck has made good power, but it seems to hit a wall and fall off. I have the timing set at 30 and all I can get out of it is about 3200. I have 4ks 215 pump,6x12s at 4000 psi pop off and have 40psi fuel pressure at ft. I can bump the timing up and it will move the rpm up but it will pull then just freaking stop pulling. I talked to scheid and industrial and they both said raise the pop off to 4500. Will this fix it? I have tried a few sets of injectors and different pump and its the same thing. any ideas?
