not sure how to turn the pump up. It has a lucas rotary pump.

any help with this would be greatly appreciated. need a little more HP on the Mower conditioner.

That's the same as the CAV pump... Those aren't bad, just take the cover off the side of the pump (turn the fuel off at the tank before this you will lose fuel) and watch in the backside of the hole as you roll the engine over by hand. There should be two 5/16 bolts in there 180* apart, loosen those and turn the ring that those bolts held. I think you move it towards the top of the pump. Tighten the bolts and put the cover back on, turn the fuel back on and prime the pump. Light it up and you will be able to tell right away if you turned the ring the right way :Cheer:
P.S. try to mark the position of the ring before you move it so you know where it was in case you move it the wrong way.

Pretty much as far as you want. Those pumps won't move all that much fuel, but I would put a pyro in it to keep an eye on things.
