I just got off the phone with Dave Rovella we got the go and he is going to let me hook with the other modifieds.

Who else is going I am pretty sure Tom, Joe, and Nick if he gets the tranny back in time who else?

I belive Dave said the show starts at 4:00 this year an hour later then last year when we started at 3:00.

Hollister is the 3rd (Saturday) We have no intentions of pulling Modesto. Most folks wil probably be at the drags in Sacto on the 4th Sunday.

I will be there, got my injectors back yesterday so I am good to go. Scott, you sure the pull starts @ 4:00? I know you talked to the main man Rovella but the San Benito County schedule says 3:00-8:00pm. I guess it doesn't matter, I'll be there around noon anyway.......

Pull in Modesto is on the 17th, not sure where you got the 4th from. I would recommend attending Hollister, it's a 5 hour pull you don't want to miss.

Holister won't be 5 hours this year, it has to do with $$$$$

Schedule says 3-8pm, 5 hours, hopefully they won't shut the show down before we get to pull if $$ is a deciding factor.

We will be good, I think Dave said the insurance went way up so he can't afford to bring some of the big dogs out which means a shorter show.

Should be a great time see you all this weekend.

In '07 i thought it was 8K but after i went over the scales i found out it was 8500lbs. 10K is exhibition and as far as i know diesel classes are still 8500.

Congrats to Joel for spanking me... Never got distances on first and second as they seemed annoyed when Megan went to ask but they did give her tom's (279ft) and mine (312ft). I know Joel won and Craig got second. Not sure where anyone else placed. I came out too hard for sure but just wanted to test the tranny more than anything and it shifted great. Even pulled 4th gear most of the run. That proved wayyyy to much tire speed for the track but got some good data. And I think i'm getting better at keeping that charger lit at the end :) We got home at 1:15am. It was funny as the head guy was yelling at me to go as soon as i started to spool the turbo.. guess he doesn't understand Diesels...i just ignored him.:lolly:

Congrats to Joel, Nick, and Craig, you guys had some good looking hooks. I was just stoked to finally get the truck down the track after my year long absense. It seems we had a little too big of a gear in the truck, but I was very happy with the way it ran. This was probably it for me this year as I have some other issues to address. It was great to see everyone, and would like to give a huge thanks to everyone who helped to get the truck ready once again: Sara, Craig, Wes, Ken, and Jim.

Awesome turnout for the diesels this year. Our class probably counted for almost half of all the rigs. I had a great time as always. Congrats to the top 5 or so big dawgs that really gapped the rest of the field. It's truly humbling showing up in a near stock rig and seeing Nick's, Tom's, Joel's, & Joe's trucks a couple rows over. I video'd the results so I'll post those up in a bit.

Great hooks everyone and a great turnout for the diesels. Nice to have it end at a decent hour as well and get home before midnight.:)
My truck ran great thanks to a certain someone:thankyou2: and my changes kept me on top of the charger all the way down the track this time. Broke my driver side rear axle at the very end... 37 spline! Couldn't believe it myself with only 10 hooks on the axles but Hollister is the track that will break just about anything. I got a replacement on the way (Thanks Craig!) so I will be at Sacramento this weekend for my season finale.
Good to see everyone again and looking forward to a bigger next year!
