I'm overhauling a 4440 now, because its wore bad and doesn't start without starting fluid even if its 95*F. Would like roughly 280-300hp out of it. What is the most power i can get with just turning the pump up? Thinking bigger turbo and injectors.

Any tips on the overhaul is welcome:Cheer:

I've dynoed tractors with just the pump screw turned in and had them in that range... The tractor didn't have a pyro in it, so they were quick runs... With just injectors and a turbo it should make more... Most were 4640's.. (some 4840's.. but the 48 has a P-pump) the 4640 should be about the same as the 44, but with out the intercooler..
