Get a 3" obs down pipe and get an adapter from 3" to 5". A little welding and your good to go.

Dale at Tymar performance sells one that bells to 4" after it passes the firewall. That may be the one you want to get. And it will most likely be the least expensive. But unless something is changed, you gotta call him. You can't order over the internet. His site only has his # on it. But I promise you will be glad you called him. He's a super great guy to talk to, and very helpful. And he has everything you could ever want for a powerstroke.

3" is the max u can fit in the OBS trucks, I have a 97 F350 and I put a 3" to 4" system from MBRP and it was a bich to fit the 3" down pipe in, hopefully you have an exhaust shop put it in, or have a 5 ft bar to bend in the firewall (what i did)... p.s. no need for a 5" system, 4" frees it up plenty

Good point Dan. I actually bought a Port-a-power tool with the expanding duck bill. It made moving the firewall back a snap. Well worth buying for me, cuz I do alot of them.

So to the original poster, you most likely will have to bend your firewall back just a fuzz to clear the pipe. If you need help on how to do it, let me know.

Yep, beat and bend the crap outta that firewall. Plenty of clearance is key. Otherwise all it takes is a worn body mount or a good bump on the highway and the downpipe will rub, causing one helluva nasty noise!
