Hey boys and girls.

I am little bit confused .

My Ram 2500 '98 front axle DANA60 bill of material is #610722 (4 wheel ABS).

According to Dodgeram.org : http://dodgeram.org/tech/specs/axle/axlespecs.html

#610722 is used in Ram 3500 (1998- 1998.5) :what:

I have 2500 but 3500 front axle is installed? ( single rear wheels)

Is it normal?

If I have to order front wheel hubs, what I have to choose :

1. 2500 (3/4 ) single rear wheels
or
2. 3500 ( 1 ton`) dual rear wheels

:snoop:

I cheked my rear axle :

#606095 Dana70 1998 W2500

:what:

Why my front is from 3500 and rear axle is from 2500 ?

I think somebody have changed my front axle housing, because

#610722 is from '98 3500 and its without ABS, but I have 2500 and ABS.

Here is Dana bill of material numbers and where is used:

you can convert a dually axle to a single wheel configuration by removing the spacers.

Yes,it true, but nobody do not convert non ABS dually axle to single wheel axle with ABS

I think complete hubs need to change.

are you sure your truck had 4 wheel abs and not just rear wheel abs?

just get 2500 hubs with abs, they should fit with out any problems.
