I've been doing alot of figures.$$$$$$$ I'm looking at possbily doing a swap instead of pouring money in my 6.0l( just thinking now) I know the 12v are the way to go. Is it possbile to get a 800+ 24vtruck that is reliable to drive. What year motor should I buy? I want to start looking into this.

Yes I know this is similar to the 12v post I made just looking for some advice. It wont happen till next winter but at least during the summer I can start build the motor

Thanks 24v guys

You can get a CR motor for about $5000 or less.

Rob, I am putting a 05 motor in my 02 right now, should be done in less then 3 weeks. With the mods I am putting on it it should be 800+. Keep in touch and I will shoot you some pics when I am getting close to done.

So far from what I have seen the biggest issue with the CR's is droppin valve seats. I am wandering though if we keep them cool with these new cams if that wont happen as much.

yes, go with an 04.5+ CDT engine. do the big turbo, fueling stacked mobule on a downloader and spray you
a little N2O and you should be real happy....

and use that 6.0 for a wheel chock...
