At the end of the summer Wide Open decided to make a few little changes to the setup. It was finished last week while I was in Alabama. As of the few first test drives they are making 75 pounds on level 1 setting on my Smarty. And in the 90 pound rage on level 3, had to get out of the throttle at that point.

Yes polished would look great, but man it looks so factory now, I don't know that it should be messed with...

Looks like the innercooler flow is reversed? I'm guessing that wouldn't work with a dual CP3 kit?

I see you changed to using the intercooler between the stages.

how in the world do you mount those suckers? That is an insane amount of weight dangling off the side of the block..

Looks like there is still some room on the driver side for dual cp3 and maybe water to air interchiller then run a bar from one side to the other with heim joints so u could balance out all that weight on the other side. You might be able to squeeze out 500 to the rear tires then. well 480ish lets be honest it aint no 6.4!!! Ha

That is a clean looking set up. Very well done. Have you dynoed it yet with triples?

This was the original set-up. Dynoed 708hp that way, single CP3, 90hp injectors, and a Smarty box.

Plumbing. Intercooling between stages now, just wanted to see what overall effect it would have.

Do you ever use this tow missle or just polish the wheels lets see what 480 to the ground will do.:Cheer:

I dunno man, looks great as is with the black piping.

So hows it compare to the previous configuration?

Haven't had a chance to get the truck on the dyno and really work it hard with a trailer in tow, so we don't know what overall effect intercooling between stages has had just yet. We do know that the truck seems to run stronger and definitely makes more boost.

We'll try and get some hard data on the set-up just as soon as things slow down at the shop.

Out of intrest what kind of IAT's are you seeing being that the inatke temp now is intercooled before going through the larger turbo. Or are you running a second intercooler to combat temps?

There is not a second intercooler. At this point I can pull a good amount of weight up long pulls and easily keep it around 1200 at 80 mph. This is with the stock IC also.

Thing really is incredible with weight behind it.

No sorry you misunderstood, may be my fault, I meant what is the intake air temp (temp at the intake of the motor), not the egt's. Didn't know if you'd checked them or not but was just wondering since it's not intercooled from the second stage

We have not had time to check yet. I can tell you that egt's are very close to the same as the previous setup which was not intercooled inbetween stages.
