I received this through an e-mail. can you guys help ?

Hi have a 1999 dodge ram 24 valve cummins .
I have the banks big hoss chip ,now my torque converter is slipping extremely bad , i want to put a DTT torque converter in it because if i put a stock TC back in it one day it will happen again. So I need your guys advice on this.

I drive this truck down the road, I don't pull or drag just drive it normally. I have a trailer but it gets used very little, so it not like the Tranny is beat on the stock torque converter just wont hold up.

I need your help please.

Jamie

He has probably cooked more than just the converter. It will most likely need a rebuild and at minimum a VB and TC.

VB's and TC's need to be done at the same time. Where is the sender from Phil?

He needs to post a location, and go with a builder that he trusts and that is close.
