Just wanting to get a feel for what I could look at getting out of my truck:
2006 Dodge Ram 2500 laramie inferno red
Fully loaded except sunroof. 51,xxx miles
Heres a breakdown of the engine build with just over 1,200 miles on it
Build was Performed by BLACKS DIESEL PERFORMANCE in Adairsville , Ga
Block was honed and “magnafluxed”
Put back with new internals including:
Arp 2000s
Hamilton valves and springs
Hamilton “mild” cam
Hamilton billet push rods
Industrial injection 120% pump
Full billet GARMON transmission
Bullseye s475 single ( yes it spools just fine)
Airdog 150
New Autometer Gauges: fuel pressure, trans temp, egt’s , boost, fuel rail pressure,
20x10 hallo maxx 8 chrome wheels with nitto terra grapplers 305’s with 70% tread
5” tb exhaust with 6” ss tip
Custom intake for the s475
Im sure im missing a thing or two but will list as they come to mind
As far as the body goes it in fair condition with a ding in the hood and the front bumper has two good size scuffs

Will post pics soon
Thanks guys

Yeah so can a ford and dodge!
But none of them are gonna hold up very long.

This truck it built for it, and so is the otherone metioned above.

But thanks for your input!

yeah and a average dmax weighs 5500-6500lbs, add another 1k to it tell me what you run.. I hate people who says d-maxs can run 12's with just a tuner... your trans will be fried the next day.

bump for a nice truck

What pistons and rods are in the engine? Sounds like a nice truck!!

FYI my 08 duramax ran 12.80's and 90's weighing 7000lbs, and the trans looked fine when I built it. Stock longblock, turbo, cp3 etc...gotta love EFI Live.

not to derail your thread, but theres a local boy with a 2wd lb7 4 door 3/4 ton has efi live and a fass system and he runs 13.40s consistantly. after last nights pull im inpressed with the truck. went just as fas as the 4wds. im a cummins man by heart but that thing might just change my mind. sorry again to derail your post

will have pics up tomorrow!

yeah thats great and all but i ran a 13.4 at commerce with a bully dog and tranny! and it was my second time down the track. but what everyone is saying, the trannys in any three major brands will not last after they are abused day in day out.

by the way the pistons and rods are stock..

o and by the way a friend with this same setup on a 6.7 ran a 11.60s at steele this past weekend!
