V-band for primary turbine housings?

I saw these today and it got me thinking. It seems like these would be perfect for use in twins. I'm interested in what others and especially the more knowledgeable think? So, what do you think? :pop:

often times, a flat flange makes for a good support bracket point to hold up the weight of the primary... combine that with the cost of a v-band inlet turbine turbocharger, and most guys will just use a standard T6 flange

Garrett has had that flange style for quite some time now.

How well do the work compared to standard flanges? Are they available on a large variety of Garretts?
