View Full Version : TT fridge woes.

Hopefully someone here can help 'cause Im too lazy to find and then sign up to a good RV forum. The fridge in my TT works great on gas but just throws an error code on electric (not really a code just flashes E). I'm an electrician and have checked it out as much as i can w/ my fluke, compressor, fan, power to the plug ect. checks out ok. any suggestions?

Battery on the camper ok? Possible the inverter is going south. Look in your OM it should tell you the codes.

battery needs to be replaced but all the 12VDC stuff works fine while plugged into shore power, fridge is 120VAC. I really do need to get a new battery though, maybe that will help.

there's a fuse in the control panel on the 110 side, might be a bad board

I think a battery should fix you up.

there's a fuse in the control panel on the 110 side, might be a bad board

ding ding ding, we have a winner! found the fuse this afternoon, it was blown. fuseholder is loose and discolored too hopefully a new one fixes it, dont want to take it apart and solder a new holder in. THANKS GUYS! Changed out the battery too.
