Yep that's right a 12v truck did 714 on diesel and 1218 on NOS--flat lined 2000 ft lbs of torque--no spike here is the word---Chris Werner from Redding, CA--3 stage NOS setup and Chris did a lot of the work himself on the truck---

Maddog layed a 914hp on the rollers(or close to this) on diesel only

some other trucks in the low 800's with NOS

so boys start your bashing now, but regardless what you think with Maddog's number being within 100hp of what he's hit before I'm not sure anyone can slam Chris and his truck ---very impressive # for sure, even for the NOS haters----chris

saw lots of video cameras and flash bulbs. It takes the guys from J and H 10 hours to get home, so probably by the end of day dyno sheets and video could/should be up somewhere. Beautiful truck, great guys, great potential for the track!

BONDO's face was awesome.. :hehe: , He walked past me, must have been a little after 1 and his face was black :hehe: .

I talked to the owner.. I swear I thought he told me an S300 and B2.. (I know B2 for sure). And it's an 01 2wd with a 96 12 valve. stock bottom end he said. Tore it out of the other truck and dropped it into his.

I could be wrong on the little turbo, but I thought that he's using the same set up as Joel and I thought Joel told me he was using a baby b1(that's what Joel called it) and isn't the s300 a B1???----chris

It is a s300 on the top, which Im almost sure is smaller than a B1. Chris is a really good guy and has put alot of work, time and money into the truck.Im very happy to see everything has worked out well for him! He has worked his butt off!

Stop being so modest! Your 12v 737/1342 with NO2 910/1657, is a great accomplishment. You guys real brought fine representation of JandH performance, not only with your trucks, but with the kind helpful people as well. Joel Gooch is my american Idol! Wished he lived closer, hell wished ya'll lived closer. As much as this dyno event was great, the JANDH truck ralley is gonna be the most diverse event is the U.S.! Glad your home safe and stayaway from partialy leashed dogs! Steve

Intresting to see different hp/torque numbers, here is 4 top results ( without NOS)

HP Torque
714 / 1452
737 / 1342
773 / 1508
915 / 1569

Wich engines truck is easyer to drive ? :kick:

Why Maddog 915 hp have only 1569 torque? How much revs he have do do to make 915 hp?

About a month ago the dynomite families were all sitting at dinner, and decided that we would not dyno our trucks at our event, just so that out of towners could get home at a decent hour, and not spill into sunday, and so that we wouldnt be accused of practicing. It was nice not to be worried where i was at on the dyno board and concentrate on accomidating the people who came to watch and compete. But I had a itchin to spin the dyno the next day when the shop was empty, but put on new shocks instead. The guy who made 1200 is a bodyman too, so him and i had some great wreck stories. BD's dyno event is next weekend, looking forward to hearing the numbers from there!

The truck that made 1218rwhp made 823rwhp at the Extreme Diesel Showdown in Tulare, Ca. Funny thing is, I was talking to the owner of that truck before he made his dyno run(in Tulare) and he told me, "I hope it breaks 660!".

Chris did 862hp at the Depo show in Tulare on a completly raw tune, just a shot in the dark, now he has it dialed in pretty near as good as it gets

inline6power
04-17-2007, 11:40 AM
he was still a 1000hp truck even at tulare. that mustang dyno was reading 25% low for every one. Reb went to a 248C dyno right after that and his first pull was 932. dialed it in at 1009. i to talked to chris and for the amount of time he had to get that truck ready, and that being the first time that truck ever saw No2, i was very very very impressed. thats a clean high hp truck.

and i believe you are correct on that. just a basic pump with basic mods and tweaks, no 13mm p&b in it. pretty amazing if you ask me although i am not much of a 12v guy, well i would love to own one, i am just a 2gen kind of guy

Lenny has always told me that the best the Grim Ripper ever ran was with a less modded pump with 12mm plungers in it. I wouldnt doubt that the orange dodge owner has a version of that same pump in his truck.
