any one using a BANKS system? my last truck was a 06 ford F250 and i had the banks 6 gun, banks exhaust turbo back and i had to send it back to banks twice, it would get hot and stop working,

I am new to DMAX, anyone have any suggestions?

Yea...don't use Banks crap. LOL
PPE tuner. if u like all the fancy gauges built in look into H&S tunners, S&B full intake, any exhaust kit 4" or 5" 304 stainless prefered for looks (all shiny) and durability. I think you may want to think about deleting the egr and dpf for better mpg and more tunning options.
Im not a duramax guy but this seems like a popular combo.

EFI is king for the duramax's but currently requires a seperate laptop to monitor engine parameters or install tunes.. The best handheld on the market is the PPE.. Pretty much any 4 or 5" exhaust will do but unless you plan on going big!! 4" will be more then sufficient. Same goes for the intake, dyno tests have proven unless you are over the 500whp mark aftermarket intake systems are pretty much a waiste of money...

Duramax tuner. Com sells pre loaded ecms with dsp switchs, that's your best bet for efi live tuning

We also sell a handheld with custom tunes installed for much cheaper than the full EFI V2. You get the same custom tunes. Call for details.
