hard blocking the head

i have a head with massive coolant leak in #6 exhaust port.wondering if i can fill it and the water still being able to circulate.this is on a pull truck only

you could hard block it about a half inch and still run water but i think youd be better off either getting another head if its near stock. if it's a competition ported head just fill it all the way and forget the water. its guna crack reguardless if you run water or not but if theres no water in it then why worry about cracks. just my opinion. tractor guys have done it for years. just open up your tolerances a bit after you fill it. any other questions reguarding this just give me a call. 8126980851.
