I bought an item from member Black Ice a week ago tomorrow. He hasn't been online since the 2nd of October. I paypaled him the money and I haven't heard from him since, nor have I received my package. Does anyone here know how I can get a hold of him?

FWIW. Never give anybody money without knowing who they are, where they are, & phone contact.

The only exception to that rule would be a prostitute.LOL

You may want to contact paypal and your credit card, they may be able to help.

I am trying to remain open minded since it has only been a week. I sent him a few pms and he had been online since I read them, but he hasn't been online since the 2nd. The cost is over $600 and I used paypal.

That will me the next step after contacting him via phone if I have the right number. I've been too busy the last couple nights to call. Paypal does have a 45 day dispute policy.

Did you get a legit address and phone number from the guy? no PO box... we had a scammer on cf that got about 7-8 ppl scammed out of 400-700 bucks! you didnt send the money as a gift through paypal did you?

I bought some stuff from him back in the begining of the year. Didnt have any troubles at all. There could be a bunch of reasons to be away from the site for a bit. Id give it a few more days, a weeks a bit short to me. But i hope every thing turns out for the good.

Still nothing. Called a number I found for his name and town under the white pages and its been disconnected.

I will call him. He is a good guy...VERY busy between work & a baby on its way. He does not get on here very often.

I receieved a pm from him saying it will be shipped monday and a tracking number sent. Thanks for the help so far. Too bad it's too late to use the item now that pulling seasons over. Oh well theres always next year.
