Can you run Darton sleeves and still run water in the block? How about filling the block and running Darton sleeves?

we've had to sleeve 2 cylinders in a 06 and it worked out fine; just stock application though.

Are you talking boring the block to accept larger bore sleeves, say 4.25 or bigger? I have though about trying this, would be nice to have some input from someone whos done it

On street apps I just use a TP1161 sleeve and deck the block.

I'm thinking of removing the factory cylinder walls in the block and running Darton sleeves. That way I can replace them easier.

Is the block still going to be usuable incase of a disasterous event. Like most Tractor pullers.

From what I've done recently, its just trash (read: compressor wheels) that score the walls.
