I'm in the process of rigging up a pressure regulator to replace the overflow valve and the regulator has 1/4 pipe thread the overflow valve looks like 1/4 but it is not tappered like a pipe thread. It will screw in but feels a little loose due to the tapper. Any ideas?

Wish I could tell you what size, but I can't.. BUT it's not pipe thread.
Take the OFV to the hardware store and match it.
Or take the guts out of it and just use it. No spring and ball, it's just a banjo bolt.
