Map sensor test?

So I installed my edge cts tonight, thing is keeeewl. There seems to be an issue though. The cts gets information from the ecm, it will tell me anything the ecm knows.

Well, I have no boost.....according to the cts, I do have oil press and ect. My isspro is telling me I have 40 psi and the cts is saying 0, then it will spike to 20 when I coast on occasion.

It also will not fuel until the cts says it has boost......damn it hauls when it does.

I think the sensor is bad but, it does not smoke anymore than usual.

you can ohm it out but I'm not sure the specs..... but I'm pretty sure if the sensor isn't doing anything until 20psi then its probably bad

Sensor sees no boost then it wont fuel.

What he said. It doesn't really start to add much fuel till it sees manifold pressure. That's when the map ramps up.

Damn, I was thinking along the lines of a smoke switch type effect.

Ok, if I was 12hp shy of 400 without that thing working I'll chit.
