6.4L egr

What should i do??
I have a 2010 6.4, I plan on using Spartan tunes up to 210 level. What should i do with the egr cooler and valve?? delete it w/plates? or upgrade it with a bullet proof version?. And what about the valve?

I wouldnt worry about it with that small of tune. In my opinion leave it alone till you plan on running the 275 to 310 tune regulary.

I just dont wanna blow my head gasket,Like i did in my 6.0. because i didnt do anything with the EGR stuff. This truck is my daily driver, I just want 500hp daily haha.

I dont think you will have any problems. Im running a SCT w/RCD 585 tune and have 20k trouble free miles. I am doing a egr delete this winter though.

Its not gonna hurt to do it. It is a inexpensive fix if you decide to go that route and can be done yourself. But I just dont find is neccasary with that small of tune.

When you say inexpensive, Do you mean block off plates for the EGR cooler, I've been leaning towards a ( bullet proof EGR cooler ) just to be safe with the 210 tune.

even with it, it could still go back if you delet the whole thing, theres nothing else to go bad. it will be done on my also in the near future
