  • Hey Lavon, I have been fighting this hard 1-2 shift problem since putting your comp 1 valve body in when I built my transmission with your comp 1 parts. Lowering the ttva values helped some but my up and down shifts have not felt correct to me the whole time. I returned the ttva tables back to stock settings and went to town for coffee with my wife and just rounded a corner driving easy on the 1-2 shift at light throttle it blew my 6 month old carrier bearing out. It was perfect when I installed the transmission a few weeks ago. I decided to drop the pan and inspect everything, out of frustration I decided to install my old transducer and upgraded bw solenoid that I had installed in the stock transmission last summer after buying the truck. Replaced the carrier bearing again, along with fluid and filter. The transmission shifts very good now. 1-2 at light throttle is about 1700 with just a nice little bump. It has had no codes or anything but it's much better now?
Hey man what flex plates do y'all use? My truck eats laminated ones like nothing. The truck is in the mid 900 hp range. What do you recommend ?
hey lavon im doing some shopping around for a tranny build for my 05 duramax and ive been told ur the guy to talk to!! i installed a tuner the other day and got a po700 and a po735 tranny codes, i removed the tuner and cleared the codes and my tranny seems fine but it scared me and if im gona be keeping it i mine as well start shopping lol
so i dont ever plan on having over 500-600rwhp ever, but i would rather go overkill on a tranny than not have enough i was looking into the ppe stage 5 kit or the suncoast gmax kit with a percision ml converter or a suncoast converter. but i dont kno where to go to have it installed a guy on here told me about you guys and i just happen to be from ohio so i thought id get ur guys openion on what to do for a solid tranny or how much to put the ppe kit or the gmax kit in and what else i would need..thanks in advance you can get back with me on here or email it to me at chevyboy_cameron@hotmail.com
