Ran into a problem with zero end play on the input, got frustrated, and haven't touched it since.

I've read your posts in bigblue24's trans threads, and for the life of me, I can't seem to figure out how you are able to see whether or not the lube hole on the intermediate is lined up. Where are you looking?

I'd appreciate your help if it's possible.

Got to replace the sun shell, so I got time. Worn lugs.

As the book specs go for the selective ring on the end of the shaft, I'm in spec. I am not understanding how one checks the lube hole alignment.
