LB7 Valve Clearance procedure?

I'm putting a new injector in #3 on my '02 GMC and I wondered if I ought to run the overhead while I've got it somewhat apart. I know I'll have to take off alot of other stuff on the passenger side which isn't where I'm replacing the injector but the truck's got 240,000 miles on it and I'm just thinking it wouldn't hurt to at least check the valve clearance. Anybody got some input?

set the balancer to TDC mark is on the pass side. there is a line in the timing gear cover next the plug. it is in the 9 o'clock positon form the balancer and about 7 oclock form the fan pulley. you might have to wipe soem of the dirt and grease off to find it.

do all the loose rocker arms.
spin the crank 360* this will spin the cam 180* and bring all the other rockers up.

stock is .012
you can safely run .010 net lash and it will also make you cam about .002" bigger at the vlv and yes you can feel the diff
