Tire balancer
So my boss is on a kick and wants to get a tire balancer at our shop. Basically put me in charge of finding one but I don't have much experience with them so I'm turning to the experts.
Main things I see we need to be able to do are dually style rims and tires and under 35" tall tires. He gave me a budget of roughly $1200 before any additional parts for dually rims or things we may need. So, who has suggestions? |
Stay away from tires all together :hehe: that's all nothing useful.

For $1200, maybe you can find a used manual rotating one. Otherwise you could get one of these for less than that!
Works great for motorcycle tires! ha ha http://i1116.photobucket.com/albums/...207160856a.jpg |

Only tire balancer he is going to buy for $1200 is going to be one that gives constant headaches.
Buy new.... last I looked Coates machines were in the $3000-3500 range. |
We have an ollllllllllllddddddd FMC machine that has been awesome for us. Its like a 1990. It works great and we use it daily on a high volume shop. Im sure you could pick up an old one like that cheap.
