Ppump 24v Motor Build Suggestions

I'm going to build the motor in my 2001 Dodge here pretty soon. I have 9-10k to spend. Truck is going to be used on the street and for drag racing. I'd like to make 1k hp.
Parts I have to install
Benched 215 pump but may go to a 13mm
PDD 5x.022 and 7x.012
Balanced 12v rods and A1 rod bolts
14mm head studs
Sxe s366
Billet s588

If it was your truck how would you do it?

cam and common rail tappets

7.3 aluminum intercooler or liquid to air cooler

Rods, 13mm pump, girdle, pistons, cam, manual valve body, 5k gov springs, port and polish the head or buy a common rail one, ridiculous valve springs and push rods, and just hope you can drive a 1000hp mechanical truck on the street and not blind everyone behind you

I believe he has changed some parts of this build.

At what point would 12mm man studs not be enough?

1,000 can be done on a 366/484 with 6x18s on a stock bottom end, 1200 has been done on those chargers with a 1.0 housing on the secondary. just run a cam that supports power in the upper RPM and keep the power up high, out of the torque band. HP doesn't kill these engines, Torque does.

Sub to mid 10s are achievable with 900hp if you can cut out enough weight...
Why not take that 10k and put it into the chassis, drivetrain, and tires, and keep the engine simple but effective.

There's a lot more to Racing than just making a mess load of power.

Make a 13mm pump a priority, best upgrade and bang for the buck I've ever made. Making power was so much easier, spools larger turbo's alot easier, and when I used to drive it on the street some was alot cleaner running a 13mm cut back to 550cc than a maxed out 12 pump.

Not trying to insult you OP but have you ever had a truck on a track? Coming out swinging isn't always your best approach. Get the truck to hook with 700hp and learn the truck before you come out with 1000hp+ and get discouraged. It'll turn into a job and less of a hobby in a hurry if you aren't careful.

That's good advice. Plans for the truck I've changed anyway. It's going to end up being more of a hot street truck. Hopefully it'll be done in the next month
