Traction bar vs ladder bar
Just wondering what your guys opinion is on a traction bar vs a ladder bar style setup? The truck it is going on is strictly for sled pulling. The set up i have right now is just a traction bar setup and the bars are 60" long and .500 wall, they are working fine for me right now, but im just curious on what you guys prefer.

Do the rules allow it? IMO a true ladder bar is pointless with leaf springs.

The rules allow anything really. I just don't.know if it pays to use a ladder bar style with a shackle or anything because we only have 1" of suspension travel to play with.

We use square tubing ran from the rear end up to approximately the front of the door & weld to the frame with square tubing up & down to gusset the frame to prevent flex.Most chassis are done like this on 3.0 diesel trucks.
