Very nice, what all has been done to the trans?

Pdidiesel 12-28-2007 04:36 PM

Nothing yet we are letting it break so that we can test for week point and fix the problems so other will not have to find out first hand.

This truck is Running an Edge Juice W/Attitude hot unlock, S&B Cold Air, 5" Straight Exhaust (No DPF),Stage 3 Injectors, Mod CP3, 95 gph fass system, Silver 62, and Manifold.

This truck is a comp truck only, but as it stands these kits will be available for sale in the next week or two for those that are interested. We are also working on a Dual CP3 kit but that is not completed on the truck yet but when its done we’ll post new numbers.

Dazed&Confused 12-28-2007 04:47 PM

Dang, how long has it been handleing 600+ hp on that stock trans? That right there is more impressive then the truck breaking 600HP.

Who makes the stage 3 injectors? Does the Edge turn off DPF codes?

DMAXcountry 12-28-2007 05:01 PM

congrats from a GM first, but true all diesel fan.

Pdidiesel 12-28-2007 05:04 PM

No the DPF codes are worked out by replacing the sensors back into the pipe and creating enough backpressure to trick the sensors into believing the airflow is correct. The stage three injectors are from II who has been working hard with us on the prodject and upcoming kit.

I want it.... I want all of it!!! Congrats

CumminAtYa 12-28-2007 05:42 PM

Wow, stock trans sure is surprising it's holding that much.....might have to replace my 03 with a 6.7!!!

Nice video. Just wish people would stop putting music over the wonderful sound of these rigs.....

Pdidiesel 12-28-2007 05:59 PM

The stock tranny will not hold that much power and just like all other truck will have to be upgraded to make it work the way we would like it. For right now we want it to break and we are sure it will not last much longer....

Congrats PDI. Nice work with the DPF

silverbullet 12-28-2007 08:08 PM

Congrats on the #. I have to ask though, just tricking the sensors is not enough to keep the truck from doing regen's. Care to elaborate on this?

Pdidiesel 12-29-2007 04:55 PM

More info will be released with the kits in the next few weeks. Check with PDI and on their website for release information

if the sensors think the DPF is clean it will never go into regen mode right???

kmkdiesel 12-30-2007 04:10 PM

Congrats glad to see someone else other than me trying get high power out of the 6.7.

kmkdiesel 12-30-2007 04:25 PM

PDI have you guys put head studs in the are the same as the 5.9 not very many people now that though. And with the egr how did you get it to work with the sensors on the manifold and also have you guys tried doing anything on the intake side. from the looks you have stock intake and if you put a blocker plate in were the egr enters the intake it will not run, which it looks ike you have it open so it still can suck air. There is a valve in the intake to make it suck there have you tried removing or anything. And are you guys coming out with a dpf delete kit also thanks, Nic
