If the same kind of mindset that made the VP44 return port 36% larger than the inlet port was also responsible for the rest of the design, it's no wonder they don't work worth a sh*t for making power.

:hehe:

Smokem 05-05-2010 04:52 PM

If you remove the helicoils from a P7100 case, you can use an M16x1.50 on the feed and return ports.

HRDROKN 05-05-2010 04:58 PM

Nice information!

:Cheer:

Kronic_187 05-05-2010 07:47 PM

Very carefully without breaking it into little pieces going into your pump. I took mine out when the pump was off, made it easier. I just grabbed the end of it with needlenose pliers and slowly pulled and twisted.

I really question why they keep paying me.

BgBlDodge 05-06-2010 08:54 AM

It should be the same size as the inlet to the pump.

Do you mean the outlet size of the lift pump? There are 4 ports between the LP and the IP. I think the outlet might be 1/2"NPT but I could be wrong. Anyone know for sure?

BgBlDodge 05-07-2010 02:05 PM

Correct. The outlet of the lift pump. Need to find that size so I can finish hooking it up on my truck.

:hehe:

You mean the mindset that knew they needed to circulate fuel un restricted for cooling purposes?!? No.. no sense in that at all......

The front fuel port on the front of a P7100 would be useful.

XLR8R 05-08-2010 01:44 AM

Good idea!

roachie 05-13-2010 09:11 PM

Bump back for more info.

CaptainChrysler 05-14-2010 12:24 AM

The stock piston pump outlet should be 14mm x 1.5.

12V stuff:
Side and front motor mounts are 12mm x 1.75, same as head bolts, bellhousing adapter and acc. drive mounting bolts.

Damper and flywheel/flexplate 12mm x 1.25.

Thermostat housing, exhaust manifold, turbo flange, p-pump studs are 10mm x 1.5.
