Drive shaft question
 

I bought a truck recently it looks to be lifted 3-4 inches the drive shaft is bent and is causing vibrations and cause the transfer case to mess up so i bought a used drive shaft from im guessing a stock truck when i go to lengthen the drive shaft should it be a tight fit from transfer case to axle or should there be like an inch of space? Hopefully u guys can understand I'm really bad at writing things

There's 3inches from the ends of both driveshaft and axle where they would meet. And that's with drive shaft all the way in the transfer case
