2007 cummins isx ugly fix

Buying a 2007 ih with a isx in it. What exactly is the ugly fix? Is it just a resistor kinda like a fuel save mod for acerts? Is just a jumper wire in a plug? Kinda curious. If it is just a resistor, what size resistor is it?

I think resistor for barometric pressure sensor to fool engine thinking it is so high that EGR can not be used.

No idea. You have to check Cummins workshop manual, they usually tell sensor values. It must equal barometric pressure at over 5000'.
