Who all is coming down for the event? We are going to be out there Friday and camping. Its gonna be nice to be close to home for a big event.

Also would like to know what time the event starts. Would be nice to plan now for what time I need to leave home and if I need a hotel or not.

They are having test and tune Friday and a dinner for everyone is what I heard. Ill see if I can find the times that everything starts.

July 31- Aug. 1. It is part of the ODSS, 1/8th mile track PPL sled pulling.

What time does drag racing start and what time does the pulling start?

Planning on making it got my room booked Friday !

We'll be there shooting the event to cover it for the magazines and possibly be racing my truck or the Jetta TDI in the bracket class...

My **** is broke and im not happy about probably missing the event.
Half tempted to bring my truck down and play in class:/

Planning on being there since Kaufman and my wife won't leave me alone about it. Pretty excited to be down South again

That's a bummer! What happened? The truck looked good the last few times I've seen it run.

Test and Tune starts at 5pm Friday.....

The event is actually Saturday I think gates open at 7am for vendors and racers. and the sled pull is after 5pm

Here is the schedule per Michael Dalton with RLC:

7:00 AM Gates open for racers
9:00 AM Gates open for spectators
9:30 AM Drag Race Qualifying begins
12:30 PM Eliminations begin

5:00 PM Gates Open for Sled Pull
7:00 PM Sled Pull starts

Remember that these times are CENTRAL Time Zone NOT eastern time!!!

Looking forward to the action on both tracks!!!

Bump. Got to do some work on the trailer tomorrow but the truck is ready to load up. Guess we're leaving from Knoxville around 7am Saturday.
