When Does the 2017 Schedule Come Out and Will There Be a 10.90 Class Still?
As the title states. When does the 2017 schedule come out? And will they still have the 10.90 class?

I'd imagine one of the classes will have to go is my guess.

Which one? Seems like 10.90 had more trucks than any pro street or super street at the events we went to

I guess it's how you define a, "good group." There were a total of 25 trucks that participated in the 10.90 class. The largest number was 9 at the first race. Lowest was 2. There were 7 at the finals. Super Diesel has a total of 78, Super Street a total of 21, Pro Street 15, and 6 in both Pro Stock and Top Diesel. Seems to me they need to keep all the classes. They added those big rig classes so I don't see them cutting anything except maybe one or two of the races that had bad attendance and participation. There are more and more of the fast rigs dropping out and not that many new ones coming on line. The sportsman class had 226 trucks that raced this year and carries the races. Boring as hell to watch unless you or a buddy is entered but that's what keeps NHRDA drag racing going

Subman you have some good points. Id have to agree with you too Anthony. 10.90 might get the boot.

Well hopefully no classes change because I just spent a bunch of money to rebuild my motor. If 10.90 gets dropped I might as well put a vp44 back in my truck and run 11.90

Exactly why I'm wondering. I can run in the 11.90 index easily now but was planning to take the lift, 37's, bumpers, etc... off and try the 10.90 class and see what other things I would need to run in it besides a roll bar. . |
We'll see soon. I text randy the other day about the schedule and he said it was almost done . He was just waiting on salt lake to get back to him

I don't see why any classes would be dropped. I don't know the business side of the NHRDA but would think more classes equal more sponsor money (title class and lane sponsors) as well as more entry and membership fees. I don't see that outweighing the costs of running another class at the events that NHRDA are already putting on.

That'd be nice, but I don't know that removing all that stuff will knock me down a full second. I'd have to do some upgrading probably; well, Y'ALL would have to do some upgrading. Lol. . |
