2002 TDI ALH No start
 

I just fully rebuilt my 2002 TDI engine and now i'm trying to start it and it just cranks. There is good fuel to the injectors but it wont start. The other thing is that i don't have any oil pressure while cranking so im just running on the assemble lube and i dont know how good of an idea it is. Any help would be appreciated!

As far as mods i have a VNT 17 turbo, 520 spirit injectors, colts stage 2 cam, south bend stage 2 daily clutch, and ARP head studs.

Assuming that the crank to pump to camshaft timing is correct ? It should start without oil pressure to the lifters.No or low oil pressure while cranking can be normal.

Did you make any changes to the injection pump since it last ran ? It might pump fuel with the lines loose but may need the injection quantity adjusted to pop the injectors open.

Any smoke from the exhaust while cranking with the injection lines tight ?
