Hot street ppump 24v

Hey working on getting parts together to build a hot street truck.I have been researching and researching what I need to get but still have a few unknowns. So as far as goals 800hp plus, street/ strip weekend warrior toy. Going to have triple turbos and motor rebuilt

What I have so far
A1000 pump
Power driven diesel 6x16 injectors set for VP pop
Fluidamper
(1)sxe 62/68/.80
Fuel lab pressure regulator
Built trans

What I need to get (please add to this)
(1)sxe62/68/.80 (1) sxe64.5 for triples not sure on the other sizes
Stainless diesel manifold
188/220 cam kits come with push rods, valve springs titanium retainers , and tappes
Block girdle
Stock 24v head port and polished (is worth doing a side draft or individual runner intake)
Misimoto intercooler and rad
Flex a lite electric fans
2 trans coolers to go in the bed
A/C delete pulley
Filter heads for fuel ( can't find any 10an)
Crazy Carl ppump conversion kit
Seth Farrel stage 4 pump (13mm is it worth the next step up)
Questions I still have
How do you run the return fuel from the back of the head?
8an from the pump to a Y and then back of the head to the Y will that line need to be bigger as well or does it matter?

Injection line size? The answer always changes does it really matter? (Seth the pump guy says stock)

What filter heads and filters do yall use with the a1000?

Thanks for the reply that's why I got the injectors at VP pop not ppump pressure.

I have fans, radiator, "y" block, gear case/cover etc.

Thanks but I'm not a fan of making deals on forums unless it's through an actual company

I've almost built two trucks off the classifieds, as long as they've been a member for awhile your safe, only had one bad deal. Save some money

I have some universal truck filter bases that are 10an orb (can't remember the part number tho). The triples seem holy overkill for your hp goal. Same with a girdle. Money spent on rods would be smarter imo.

Yeah ill be having my rods shot pined and polished forgot to put that on there. The plan for the triples is to run the single 64sxe till I get all the kinks worked out then will put the twin 62s on I'm fine over shooting the goal but I also want to have room to grow I'm sure I'll want more later on.
Also do you know where you got the filter bases

Anyone know at what point it's worth getting rid of the intake shelf sorry if these are some rookie questions I'm not super new but I'm pretty new to the high horsepower side of things

Putting a 80mm under your current 62mm is plenty for 800hp, without the need for hardly any of the parts in your second list. Trips are a bit more cool though. Definitely stock injector lines. I think I got my filter head from Summit or Jegs, don't remember the part # though. Not much point in removing the shelf for less than 1000hp. The early stock rods tend to bend, not break. So polishing and peening doesn't help a lot unless they are hardened.

Thanks yea I'm doing triples for the cool factor and spool. I'll definitely get them hardened. Any small detail stuff that I'm missing or good to know stuff

Since we were talking about rods and I know billet rods are way over kill but kinda considering them but have yall seen carrillos new hybrid rods and pistons? They calm to save 2lbs per cylinder!! What effect would that have on over all performance?

Also for a more realistic question on my build should I worry about doing a different piston style or just stick with stock pistons?

Coatings for pistons and bearings are they worth the extra coin?

Attachment 65484I found these filter heads from westerndiesel, billet alum. with -12 in out and has a port for a gauge if you want, the pics don't really do it justice. I haven't found anything better so far. The smaller one is a Baldwin filter head, as you can see the western one is machined out almost 3 times as much,

they look nice thank you

13mm is definitely worth it. Seth builds a nice budget friendly 13mm pump that is still street able.

Afcummins45 06-11-2017 07:29 PM

just a little up date on my slow build ordered crazy carls ppump kit with .078 lines adjustable timing gear and all the billet goodies. Still up in the air about my turbo set gone throw about a hundred different ones in my head. s475, sxe476, s464/s480, s468/s488 the list goes on. As well with the manifold steed or stainless trying to leave options open for different turbo combinations.

Steed, 62, 80. Don't over think it.

jlbayes 06-12-2017 08:25 AM

Cause the turbines aren't important.
