48RE Trans Tune TCC Lock/UnLock Question
 
In Lavon's YouTube video where he talks about how to adjust the Anteater Pro tunes, he shows us his 3 tunes 1) Daily/Race, 2) Sled Pull, 3) Drag.

In the Daily tune and Drag tune (1 & 3) he has the torque converter mph lockup at a lower speed then the unlock mph...did I read this right and if so, why is it this way and not flipped the other way...meaning unlock is lower than lockup?

I didn't watch the video, or have experience with the Anteater controls. But usually that's a way to ensure it never unlocks once it's locked. Makes sense for the drag tune but not a daily setup

the unlock table is above the lock table in most tunes, it will not unlock when it crosses the unlock table during acceleration. If you have lockup come in at 40mph during light throttle acceleration, I generally have unlock at 48mph. The Pro base file that came on the USB drive with the unit is very similar to what i run for daily driving AND racing on my 04.5 Quad cab.

Lavon, the point about not unlocking when it crosses the unlock table during acceleration helps me answer my concern. Thank you for the great video's and super fast reply!
