2006 megacab rebuild and longbox conversion
 
Well after waiting forever for the machine shop to get things done the motor is finally finish and in the mean time I extended the frame on put a longbox on it since my cousin has a pickup the same color and put a flatbed on. Heres a bunch of pics of the process.

looks cool good luck finding a parking place. Do you have to get it dot inspected now. Did you paint the brush bar or have it chrome dipped

shouldn't need to get it inspected as far as i know. ill just play dumb farmer if they say something. The grill gaurd is aluminum its just polished

How did u know how much to add ? Did u use another long box as a measurement guidline ? Or just go by the length of the beds? Did the rearend go back square usually weld will pull a little one way or the other ? If it is in alignment that's fantastic work ? Totally something I would never have done. I would have just went and bought another old longbox truck with bad body but good frame and swapped everything over . Again Great Work !!!

Dodge never made a long box mega cab. The only way to get a truck like that is a custom job. I think there is a company that was doing it also.
