Issues after air bag recall
 

2006 Mega cab 130k miles

Took it to the dealer last week and had the airbag recall completed. Drove it home and parked it in the garage until yesterday when I decided to take it to the gym. Quickly found out the defrost doesn’t work. Everything else functions as it should except for defrost, when defrost is selected, air is only coming out of the floor vents.

I only drive this truck 3k miles/ year but I’ve never had this problem before. Could something have happened with the air bag recall work or is it just bad timing and completely unrelated?

Thanks for the reply. Just bad timing I guess.

I’ve done a lot of reading on blend doors, etc. I’ll order up a kit and pull the dash if it’s not related to the recall work.
