my truck has a hair over 43 thousand miles on it if that means anything thanks |
I drove it today and the overhead said systems ok ?? I'm confused o. Weather I need to change the filter now or wait? Probally best if I change the filter anyways though

gdp diesel has a kit to keep the oil from getting in the turbo. They also have replacement filters
|
I believe they are programmed to go off around 67k miles thats when mine went off havent ghanged it yet and put another 30k on her and no problem so far. Doesnt mean it is plugged though...

I have thrown that code a couple of times under WOT. I just cleared it with the smarty and was on my merry way. The kit from GDP is something you can put together from autozone. Just need a crankcase breather filter and about 2-3" of 3/4" heater hose and 2 clamps.

set to go off at 67k miles?! LOL
how about set to go off when crank case pressure reaches a certain point? like say at on the big end of a WOT drag run with elevated cylinder pressures from a programmer/etc. ? |
