Just got the confirmation call Kye Kelley ( The Shocker ), Bobby Ducote ( Lil Legend ) and Chuck ( Death Trap) will be at the TS Outlaw Drags to run the Street Outlaw Less Prep Class

Bye Now 01-11-2016 08:58 PM

For those wondering how the drag race will be ran..

This will be the running order for the classes.

Some of the racers complain about the ET trucks messing up the prep on the track. Here is what I came up with, and it makes the ET trucks one of the most valued classes I'm going to run. With that in mind here is the plan.

Starting off with a fresh prepped track, we will begin with the 10.50 class, followed by ProStreet, followed by ProMod and ProDragster. I am also adding some really fast gas classes etc.

Now is where the 12.0 and the ET trucks come into play....Since these classes do run drag radial or slicks and get the complaints about messing up the track. I will run the 12.0 followed by the ET trucks. Now that the track has been beat up on. This is where the Less Prep street outlaw guys want to run. They will do their burnouts and lay rubber down to get the best surface that can. After the StreetOutlaw class we will prep the track again and repeat!

Everyone will have a good surface to run on and be able to lay down some great times.

Another suggestion is to let you first section Of classes run in reverse order. Pro dragster first, then mod, and street, and 10.5. I only mention this because some pro street and most 10.5 have radial tires which pull rubber off the track.

We can look at that Wade. Only thing I worry about is a fresh track with nothing down for you guys to grab too. Anything can be looked at.

Do potential competitors still have to peel their Fleece stickers off in order to get through the gate?

Dammit, Purn. Stop it.

;)

No they will not have to peel any stickers or remove anything from any company. Those companies in question are even welcome to call Randy and sponsor the event if they want too. It's about growing the sport!

Nicely done.

So we get mad, take our ball away from everyone, then we decide to give it back?

All I'm saying is that there are always two sides. Did I handle it correctly? No I didn't I am not going to get on here and rehash the events that lead to what happened. I am going forward with doing what I can to put you guys on the best event possible.

This is good stuff to hear. It is tough to admit when you handled something incorrectly. In a weird way all of that going down may have improved the event. Some will be sore about it but the majority should be excited about the improvements.

Great to hear! Looking forward to the event and certainly an even bigger event with more butts in the stands. Gives us the opportunity to show off what we can do in a diesel. See you guys there!

And love the flyer. Best TS flyer to date! LOL

RascalMafia 01-12-2016 09:10 AM

Already got the vacation days scheduled; great to hear things were resolved amicably.
