compound setup and s400sxe...

for a compound setup on my 12v with s300sxe and s400sxe(if they worth it?) or s400sx.. what would be the best for fast spoolup and 8-900whp?
362sxe? 364sxe or 366sxe? and witch turbine housing? .83?.91? or keep my 369sxe and change the turbine housing?

street truck and some sled pull.. planning on put water/meth later...

and i will put a external wastegate that will be on the manifold and bypass both chargers.

tanks alot :)

62 over a 72 sxe. spool really quick and make 900hp easy.

witch turbine housing and wheel size ? i was told that its hard(very hard) to get 800hp with a 362sxe as secondary...

The S488 SX-E flows as much as a S591 but spools like a S483.
The s480 SX-E flows like a S486 but spools like a S475
The S476 SX-E flows like a S480 and spool like a S472

I have the 61.44fmw compressor wheel and 68mm turbine on my commonrail as the secondary with a 595 as the primary. My truck makes 1200hp and has gone 10.70's at 130mph in the 1/4. The secondary is not a restriction in my experience. the 72 only comes in the 87mm turbine. I'd run the biggest T6 housing you can. If you want the bigger turbine wheel then go with the 76 which will get you the 96mm turbine.

i plan to use the s476sxe(96mm wheel and 1.32 A/R t6) as primary(flow like a 480sx and spool like a 72sx)...

witht eh 62sxe i will have a amazing spoolup and the ability to have 8-900hp?

khaoskustoms 09-07-2016 07:05 PM

You'll def have the air for it with a 62/76 combo.

Jeremy001995 09-08-2016 04:51 PM

if i would use a s488sxe, what is the smaller secondary turbo i can run?

tanks :)

As previously stated.

so a 62sxe with a 488sxe? lol

Hdhorton 09-08-2016 09:59 PM

Might as well just go with the 64.5sxe, I'm running one on my truck and love It, spools quick and flows more than 62's. Just my 2 cents though

Jeremy001995 09-16-2016 10:52 AM

64.5sxe with 73mm wheel and .70 a/r t3 housing, with a s488sxe 96mm wheel 1.32 a/r t6 housing? it would be good? or nop?

tanks :)

Bigger is not always better, IMO on your manifold charger stay with the 68 turbine with a small waste gated housing.

There are many choices that will work for your primary, my advice would be if 800-900 is your final goal pick the smallest charger that will get you there. The truck will be much more fun to drive.

476sxe?480sxe? 480sx? 482sx?

I've got the 64.5/68/.83 t4 and I love it. It's pretty responsive and makes boost pretty quick. I can hit about 10psi by 1600rpm and by 2000 she's pullin hard so I would definitely recommend this for a secondary. And goin from a 63.5/73/.99t3 to this one my egt's also dropped about 400*

ya i got that 64.5sxe 73mm wheel with .70ar wastegated t3 housing for cheap from a guy near me...now i dont know witch primary to take..

You need to decide is performance the goal or is staying budget friendly the goal. They usually are mutually exclusive with regards to turbos. I would personally look at an s480 but I am more budget minded than all out performance minded.

I'd think a good race covered 480-483 with the 96/ 1.1 will suit you well.

ya! i look at the s480sx4 from bd diesel.. 1900 CAD.. i think i would do the job.. the 488sxe is 3000$.. o_O
