476 single options

Who here is on the 476 single that has been up to the 476/96? Just curious on streetability vs the 476/87?

Fuel is 200% overs and dual pumps ats. 6.7 bag o parts and a lbz pump. Also head work and joker.

1000+ is squeezable on the 476/87/10 but would like some further knowledge and real world before I slap one on.

There are a few things that make a big difference in how nice it would be to drive. I run a billet FI 476/87/1.1 on my 03 and its okay, but nothing I would want to drive everyday... that is all relative to what you want to put up with.

Engine displacement, tuning, converter stall speed, and airflow improvements like cam and head work will make all the difference.

I run a 2800 stall, ported head with factory shelf, and stock cam at the moment. The turbo is fully lit at about 3000 rpm. I am building a new motor that will have a D&J stage 2 head and 188/220 cam though.

I think you would be perfectly fine with that charger with just a stock-2400 stall and a good tune.

There are a few good threads in the turbo charger section or the drag race section, chris g88 did a few comparisons between sxe and FI 476, might want to get ahold of him.
