So, I had a previous thread on having issues with my Allison 4060HD in my '96 diesel pusher, met a good local guy with software and we're pretty positive we have narrowed it down to the software taking a **** in the computer...
All solenoids are working, going live/dead, when needed for given few situations, but it will NOT go into 3rd...
Start poking around looking at ****, computer is a newer one, dated 2011, we are pretty positive something similar happened once before.
So, now, I'm looking for another computer to try my luck.
OR, if someone can "bench" the computer to make sure the software isn't corrupted?
It communicates to his Allison software fine, shows everything, but just absolutely will not put together the correct "solenoid sequence" I suppose you could call it to shift past 2nd...
I talked to our local W.W.Williams and was just given the run around...
