Single for 800-900 hp range dd
Pulling the motor out. 700 is fun but I wanna go more and build it right. Torn between 467.7 /83, 468/83, or 471/83 .... any other suggestions? Fuel will be 180-200 hp industrials (stock bodies have 50,000 miles) so balance flow w nozzle. And a 12mm bd cp3, w flowmax 950 lift. Motor built bottom to top. Don’t tow much, but might occasionally if 12v is down.

800-900 isn’t going to be fun in a g56 single charger truck.
But... 76/96 with a 1.15 ex housing might make me giggle from time to time |
Most every "468" on the market is the 467.7

I am sure somebody has a true 468 but we have had several "468" in for overhaul that were a 67.7mm turbocharger. Most every 468 on the market is a 467.7 Is that better? |
Lol...
Your statement, "Most every "468" on the market is the 467.7" comes off like you're saying other companies are just re-branding a box charger as their own. That's how it read to me. And I'm sure that happens, but I also think there are companies that put in more work than that. Thanks for your concern about my undergarments. |

Looks like 472/87/.100 is money. Stainless, fleece and few others say it’s a monster on 6.7 w g56. Good enough for me

My 2 cents...
Box 467.7 chargers have been making 800+ for years I dont put a lot of stock in nozzle swaps. My truck had industrial r1 nozzles when I bought it; swapping to 100hp motorsport injectors made the truck run noticeably cleaner and smoother. If it were my money, I'd keep your current turbo and talk to exergy or s&s about some real injectors. If it turns out to not be enough air, that's an easier upgrade down the road. |

Jose has had my charger for almost a month, hasn’t called yet asking for money so I suppose it’s not done. In my experience FI has the turnaround time of a dog turd rolling down a rocky slope. But it’s the holidays and they’re probably swamped so I understand. |

Tried a larger exhaust housing on the 83 (1.1) and lost more than I gained all around. I'd have to look thru my notes to see how much drive pressure I lost, but it was only a couple psi iirc. Not enough to justify the added lag (I tow). I'm expecting good things with the 87, but it'll be a while until I get it on and dynoed again- with much better tuning this time around, but can probably do a pull with my old tuning to compare apples to apples. The 472sxe really interest me but I don't need that much air. For a truck shooting for 800-900, it might just be the ticket... whatever you do, I'd def go bigger than 83 on the turbine side. |

i have not been impressed with industrial, to me they are down there with DDP as far as cleanliness goes. one thing ive leaned... BALANCE IS EVERYTHING!!!!! ive swapped out a few mostly stock trucks that had DDP 50's in them and went to exergy 50's and half the smoke is gone and the charger is soooo much happier. |

Kingspeed, Armor Inc, dustin jackson, the fleece performance ucc truck, and many others wouldn't run them if they weren't good. They are also very easy to work with. If you aren't satisfied 100% they will work with you to fix any issues. For example, I had a set of new super mentals for my 2003 cummins which I sold for a 2006 cummins, they worked with me on the price of balancing and swapping new nozzles to the bodies that I had. |
