6.7 dies

Ok first off any help will be appreciated! I'm sorry this is only my 2nd or so post I used to get on all the time but forgot my pass word. Ok now to the truck. It is a 2011 6.7 that threw the front drive shaft. Parts I replaced- fuel lines(both from dodge), transfer case and transmission, front drive shaft. Ok got the truck back together and it drove good. I probably made it 5 miles down the road and came to a stop sign and it dies. Try starting it back up and nothing. Pull the cap for the fuel filter and it took a quart to fill it up. Started back up and went back to the shop. I pulled the line off at the tank and have fuel coming out with key on. I started it back up and sounded good stared down the road and under a load it Pulled down the motor and died. Same thing fuel filter housing was a quart low on fuel. Pulled the fuel line off at the tank and if I turn the key on it has fuel coming out. I mostly stick with Fords but this is a friend's truck. I hooked up my scanner and no codes. Sorry for the long post this is all the info i have.

When it threw the drive shaft did smash the harness on the frame rail going to the back of the truck? Possibly not able to get the right voltage to the fuel pump. Try hot wiring the the fuel pump and see if it will run normal

Yes it did and broke one wire. I will try that tonight and if I get any changes

Wiring 12v to the lift pump won't hurt the computer?

Not if you unhook the pump from the factory harness

Ok I check out all the wires and they all look good. I'm only getting 2.7v from a blue wire with a white tracer. Should there just be power to that one wire? 4 wires total I'm guessing two go to the fuel gauge sending unit.
