Here it is! The Billet "Batmowheel"!

OK guys, here it is, the new Billet "BatmoWheel" from Stainless Diesel. Lots of data to back up our claims. First off, this is the wheel that won the $50k drag race in Florida "Aron Nick's Truck". This wheel has done 850hp on a Duramax in a 66/74 charger at Danville. On a VGT/475 compound setup, they picked 60hp over the cast Borg wheel. The 3.0 Batmo did 106hp better than the cast Borg wheel back to back on a 6.7L. Lots more data is coming, from gasoline cars to diesel powered pullers. These are now available in 62, 66 on s300. Also available soon for S400 based. These will be on the site next week.

What does that notch in the impeller do?

LReiff 03-31-2011 10:19 AM

Where is the data proving the benefit of this "batmowheel" over the the same billet wheel without the bat treatment?

not enoughsmoke 03-31-2011 10:22 AM

thought the turbo was a bullseye charger that won the race?

CSnyder 03-31-2011 10:25 AM

A Bullseye turbo with a batmowheel from what I understand.

That is a bullseye wheel

The shape of it takes advantage of the high and low pressures of the wheel.

Yep, Bullseye wheel. Stainless Diesel is a Bullseye dealer who built the dynojet [turbochargers] for Bullseye and does alot of their testng.

Looks like one of those "slap-n-chop" do dads. :D

LReiff 03-31-2011 10:36 AM

Now I'm more cornfused than ever! Shapes taking advantage of shapes...that's a thought loop! LOL

cummins724 03-31-2011 10:36 AM

Dyno sheets coming very soon. Along with flow chart data.

NickTF 03-31-2011 10:36 AM

Keepin my eye on this one! The title of the wheel is hilarious!

Sounds like, look into this mirror while we pull the wool over your eyes

It was a typo. I meant it takes advantage of the high and low pressure areas on the wheel. Another way of saying the tip heights are taller "grabbing more air".

I saw Aron's without a cover on it...very very nice piece.

Acorn 616 03-31-2011 11:35 AM

Hey........that thing looks familiar. :poke:I can post time slips before, and after this wheel was installed. I can even post slips with a reg comp housing, or with a 5.5" race cover. If you think the time slips are lying, then I have nothing else too say$.02
